Brahma is the new family member of Pedret Lighting lamps that will be presented at Light & Building 2012. Hall 6.1, Stand D34. A lamp made of solid brass and porcelain lampshades, with suspension, flush, wall, floor and table versions.

Els Mobles de Joaquim Anson

Fa cinquanta anys, quan l’ADI-FAD tot just es fundava i tenien lloc les primeres edicions dels Premis Delta, a la ciutat de Mataró, Joaquim Anson desenvolupava una sèrie de mobles amb l’objectiu d’oferir-los de forma assequible a la llavors creixent classe mitjana del país. Anson però, no es considerava un dissenyador i va treballar de forma discreta aportant solucions funcionals i versàtils a amics, familiars i clients. Cadires, taules, prestatgeries o joguines, sempre produïdes en pi de flandes. Avui, el seu fill Martí Anson, després d’una extensa investigació per recuperar aquell projecte social que va significar el llegat del seu pare, ha decidit recuperar-los i produïr-los de nou.

A principis dels anys 60 va aparèixer a Mataró un fenomen curiós, un projecte anònim que va crear vincles en l’entorn social de l’època. L’arquitecte Jordi Capell va fer que moltes cases de Mataró tinguessin el mateix mobiliari de Joaquim Anson. A partir d’una relació personal entre ambdós, Capell va fer la casa d’Anson i Anson es va moblar la casa amb dissenys propis, un sistema senzill i pràctic per optimitzar el material i abaratir els costos. Un amic, en veure’ls, li demanà que en fes també per a ell i, així, amb el boca a boca, va donar-se el fenomen que va distribuir aquests mobles per tota la ciutat.

L’Adi-Fad, de la mà de Martí Anson i Miguel Milà ens explicaran aquesta fantàstica història el proper dijous 10.11.11 a l’Auditori del Fad.

Made-up by two pieces, body and top, screwed together and, depending on the version, fitted with a security lock. Barcelona Design Week

El Barcelona Design Festival continua amb la Barcelona Design Week. Un munt d’activitats que clouran aquest experiment que ha concentrat desenes d’activitats de promoció del disseny en gairebé quatre mesos. D’entre les principals activitats, destaquem el Congrés 2020 que organitzarà el Bcd, així com el Mes del Disseny per al reciclatge, organitzat per l’Arc i que entre d’altres, concedirà els premis Disseny Per al Reciclatge 2011, i amb qui l’Adi-Fad organitzarem properament un ‘The Making Of’.

Destaquem també el festival Oh!bcn: Una setmana de disseny i gastronomia per diferents espais de la ciutat amb parada a l’Adi-Fad el proper dimarts: ‘The Making Of’ especial Vidre! Erwan Bourullec visitarà a Nanimarquina, Ryan Frank el Roomservice Gallery, Juuri de Sarah Böttger i Caroline Swift a la galeria Il·lacions, Arturo Álvarez a Gunni & Trentino i Openhouse presentarà l’Openhouse Collection. Hi haurà un PechaKucha a l’Escola Massana, el Trashkitchens organitzat per Transfodesign i moltes mes activitats que podeu consultar a la web. Us animem a participar-hi!

Every element and every process, from the smelting of the ingots, mechanized, plating, polishing and composition, has harnessed the skill of our craftsmen who are aware that attention to every small detail is the secret of exceptional work.

We started working for Pedret Lighting in 2009. Designing some promotional items, including material for Fair Habitat Valencia and Euroluce 2011. This work has been completed this September with the launch of the new website. A project developed with Batiscafo Studio.

Secrets d’una col·lecció

Dirigit i coordinat per la Gemma Martin amb fotografies de Jaume Blasi, el llibre Secrets d’una col·lecció. Fons d’Art del Crèdit Andorrà recull les principals obres de la pinacoteca del Banc del Crèdit Andorrà.

Una col·lecció formada principalment per una col·lecció de pintura catalana que aplega un centenar de quadres dels pintors catalans més destacats del segle XVIII fins al final del segle XX, una col·lecció única de vint rellotges domèstics catalans del segle XVIII, i una peça excepcional pel seu valor històric, la predel·la del retaule de l’església de Sant Miquel de Prats, obra del Mestre de Canillo.
